INSTALLATION STYLE:
A form governed by strict constraints shifts the power of the works toward expression rather than concrete representation. The deliberate omission of a background places the "tangle" of wire at the center of the pieces, from which emerge the outlines of human figures—rendered only partially. Isolating the figures and detaching them from their surroundings allows the focus to rest on the gestures and behaviors they embody. This ascetic approach and the elimination of detail ensure that the final effect arises from the limitation of form itself; simplification expands the scope for interpretation, while reduction intensifies the expressive power.
