DESCRIPTION:
The artwork was created using a mixed-media technique (giclée combined with Isograph drawing) on white, matte, 250g Canson art paper with a lightly textured surface. The serenity of white perfectly complements the elegance of black. This combination remains timelessly stylish, and black-and-white interior accents create a striking visual impact; while the design might initially appear dark or stark, the ethereal figures add warmth to the empty walls of minimalist, eclectic, or even classic interiors.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- the artwork is framed in a black aluminum frame with a graphite-colored passe partout;
- it is ready to hang;
- available in 3 framed sizes (31 × 22 cm, 41 × 31 cm, 51 × 41 cm);
- signed by the artist.
THEME OF THE WORK:
The form and line work of these prints often reveal a playful and symbolic nature. Simple yet sophisticated in their design, these original pieces serve as intriguing metaphors for life. A case in point is graphic work no. 67 - "Under the Mushroom," which depicts a tiny figure, a character any of us could identify with, sheltered beneath an enormous umbrella. It makes for an excellent contemporary art piece for a living room, bedroom, or child’s room.
