Oil painting is a classic, and creating paintings in this technique takes the most time. Oil paints dry for a long time, but at the same time they delight, captivate with the depth of colors and are the most noble. The Art Studio is profiled primarily for modern hand-painted paintings on canvas. At first glance, my works are associated with abstract landscapes. However, for me, abstraction is a play of colors, lines, spots and surfaces. Each painting on canvas is a search for connections between colors. Paintings are not only a decoration of a living room or bedroom, they are primarily a reflection of our style and the atmosphere of a given interior.

In painting, breaking away from figurativeness is key for me. I try to reach the viewer not through objects or figures, but through colour, division of planes and lines, sometimes disappearing, other times setting a boundary. The oil paintings on canvas that I create are hard to categorise only as modern abstract paintings. At first glance, my works are associated with abstract landscapes, but this is a big simplification. For me, abstraction is a game. A game of colours, lines, spots, planes. Each painting is a search for connections between colours. What the viewer sees at first will probably include in the category of abstract painting on canvas. This very general and at the same time wide spectrum perfectly fits the unrestricted freedom of interpretation, thanks to which when seeing a painting we can expect an infinite multitude of impressions. Impressions that are the domain belonging primarily to the recipient of the work. The only thing an artist can control is to direct the creative process in such a way that it is accompanied by the feeling that the colours, shapes and proportions have been properly harmonized and the oil painting on canvas is consistent with the original assumptions.

Seeing colors is a subjective experience. An important element is that the perception of color is influenced by: gender, the culture in which we are raised, the environment, and above all the emotional state, because color has a huge potential for expression. Therefore, art dominated by color can fulfill many non-obvious functions apart from fulfilling the role of an addition or decoration. Of course, when choosing paintings for the apartment, we should be aware that art is a perfect complement to spaces intended for various purposes and this fact is worth taking into account. Above all, however, you should be guided by your own taste. If we do not feel good and comfortable enough in the space in which we spend time (living room, bedroom, office), it is worth thinking about saturating it in a thoughtful way with color, for example by fitting modern abstract paintings into the interior. Oil paintings are much more than an ordinary addition constituting decoration. Abstraction on canvas can just as well be the central and key element of the interior, emphasizing its character.
